Initiated in 2021, Konfrut Contracted Organic Strawberry Project marks with the quality of being the biggest organic strawberry project actualized at one time in Turkiye.
The Project areas were selected among the hinterlands with high altitude, rather than the coastal regions where plenty of strawberries are grown. New plantation fields were created in Balıkesir (İvrindi), Çanakkale (Yenice, Kalkım), Konya and Manisa provinces.
With the vision of “Next Generation Industrial Agriculture”, we make long-term contracted agriculture agreements with the farmers of the Region.
We offer all kinds of support required for strawberry production to our Farmers participating in the project and create an ecosystem where the risks in the organic strawberry farming are manageable, allowing sustainable agricultural activities.
Turning the new regions without strawberry plantation into strawberry farming fields, Konfrut supports women employment, constantly regards equality of opportunity, offers job opportunities to the regional community, and creates a source of regular income.
